Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint concerning your insurance or the way an insurance policy was sold to you, you should contact us either by telephone or in writing, stating the details of your complaint and when possible your policy number.

We will try to deal with the issue immediately, however, we will contact you within 5 days of receiving your complaint to tell you what we are doing. We will try to resolve the problem and give you an answer within 8 weeks.

If we cannot resolve the problem, the complaint may be referred to underwriters. If the situation has not been rectified within 8 weeks from receipt of the original complaint you will be provided with information about the Financial Ombudsman Service, their website is www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/

Our Complaints Officer is Daniel Parry. If you make a complaint you will be sent a copy of KBIS' complaints procedure in our first correspondence following any complaint unless we are able to resolve your complaint within 3 working days.

Alternatively, the European Commission has an online dispute resolution service for consumers who have a complaint about a product or service bought online. If you choose to submit your complaint this way it will be forwarded to the Financial Ombudsman Service. The service can be accessed by visiting https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr.
