Our teams

Claims Team – Knowledgeable and caring individuals make up our Claims Team. They are first port of call when our policyholders need help and work professionally to resolve and settle claims as quickly as possible. With the majority of the claims we see being for horses directly, specifically for vet fee claims, the team liaise effectively with vets and empathetically with policyholders, so they can concentrate solely on looking after their horse.

Horse Team – Our Horse Team is responsible for handling all of our equine policies, including Leisure, Competition and Sport Horse as well as Bloodstock. With each member coming from an equine background themselves, they understand the highs and lows of horse ownership and enjoy being there every step of the way for our policyholders. Nothing is ever too much trouble for our Horse Team, making sure each element of a policy is understood is top of their priorities.

Liability and Property Team – Experts in their field, our Liability and Property Team deal with over 20 different types of policies for individuals and businesses. From barns to buildings, racehorse trainers to riding schools, polo yards to pony clubs, they are on hand to patiently listen to each individual’s requirements and find the exact cover they need. With such a wide variety of products on offer, no two days are ever the same for those in our Liability Team.

Motor Team – With Horsebox, Trailer and Breakdown policies all falling under the Motor Team’s remit, their knowledge and experience in this field cannot be beaten. Add to this their desire to help our clients as swiftly and efficiently as possible and you have a winning combination. A keen eye for detail and warm personalities shine through in our Motor Team, as they do throughout KBIS as a whole.

Location

Based in the rural village of Peasemore (Newbury, Berkshire) the office was previously an American barn which has been converted to comfortable offices including air conditioning and an air re-circulation system. We are all based here together where most of the team opt to split their time between the office and home working.

We love the family feel and our rural location, but being part of a wider group based in London allows us to get the best of both worlds with our parent company SRG. We regularly have the opportunity to attend events throughout the year at their office (or a chosen hotspot), to network and expand our knowledge with other like-minded individuals.

Current Vacancies

We are seeking a full-time Policy Administrator to join the team working 9am-5:30pm Monday – Friday. The role is a hybrid position working remotely from our rural office near Newbury, Berkshire a minimum of 2 days per week and working the rest of the time from home.

We are growing at a fast pace and therefore looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active team player who is customer focused and detail oriented. The ideal person will have a willingness to learn and previous experience within the equine industry and/or an office environment.
