Harry Whittington

Harry Whittington launched his training career in September 2012 with just 5 horses, after a successful spell as a pre-trainer from the same base at Hill Barn stables, with top clients such as Tom Dascombe & Nicky Henderson.

Fast forward to 2021 he is now fast becoming one of the leading National Hunt trainers for the future. Based at the highest yard in Lambourn up on the ridgeway overlooking the stunning ‘Valley of the Racehorse’. Harry works alongside a young and ambitious team, striving to produce an environment where each individual horse is encouraged to reach their full potential.  With access to some of the finest facilities in the country, a truly unique training environment is achieved. 

From Arzal, landing a Grade 1 victory at The Grand National Festival at Aintree in April 2016 the yard has gone from strength to strength and continued to win a string of prestigious races along the way with horses such as Saint Calvados, Rouge Vif, Simply the Betts, Vinnie Lewis and Bigmartre.  The most recent of which being the first Cheltenham Festival success in March 2020.
