KBIS started supporting Endurance GB in 2008 with the sponsorship of the Endurance GB Pleasure Ride Trophy. After three years supporting this non competitive series we transferred our sponsorship across to support the Riding Club Endurance Team Event and we have now been the title sponsors for six years.
One of the benefits of horse riding is being able to enjoy the wonderful countryside and coming across views and areas that we may not otherwise have been able to experience. Many customers of KBIS are leisure riders, enjoying the opportunity to ride across such countryside at the weekends, and as the Riding Club Endurance Team Challenge embraces all of these areas KBIS are delighted to be involved with the series.
The event is open to all riding club members, in clubs affiliated to the British Horse Society, and teams can consist of between three and six members. Rides are typically between 30 - 35km and teams are able to compete at any Endurance GB ride which is running a suitable class. The teams who are successful at one or more of these rides will then be entered in to their regional league table. The league tables close during August and the top two teams in each league table will gain automatic qualification to the National Final, which will be held at the Lion's Tail Ride in September.
