Georgie was taught to ride by her mother Debbie and at a very young age started her career in the showing world. A keen member of the Romney Marsh Pony Club, she contested the Pony Club Championships on six occasions and regularly participated in any equestrian sport she was able to from mounted games to tetrathlons. In 2004, Georgie was selected to ride on the South East team at the Junior Regional Novice Championships and the following year she was short-listed for the British Junior team.
In 2009 her career at international level kicked off when she gained the ride on four-star campaigner Master Monarch. Together they completed Georgie’s first three-star, won the prize for the highest placed U25 rider in the British Open at Gatcombe and made Georgie’s four-star debut at Burghley in 2010. In this same year she was selected to represent Great Britain at the University Championships in Korea winning team silver.
More recently with Cooley Business Time, Georgie made her Nations Cup debut at Ballindenisk where she was a part of the winning British team. Later that year the pair completed at Burghley.
2018 saw Georgie relocate from her home county of Kent to be based at Sir Mark Todd’s yard at Badgerstown, Wiltshire. She has since competed at her first Badminton with Cooley Earl, where they successfully completed. Georgie has a host of up and coming stars including; Monbeg Odyessy who was the 2016 KBIS 4 Year Old Young Horse Champion, Red Hot Cooley an exciting 7-year-old and Global Quest.
We are really excited to be involved with Georgie and to see what her and her talented team of horses have in store.
