Izzy has been riding since she can remember which isn't surprising coming from a horse orientated family - Izzy's mother represented her country at both Junior and Young rider level and her great aunt was the first person to win both the prestigious Burghley and Badminton titles.

Izzy herself represented England at Under 21 level achieving a team silver and individual bronze, she has since gone on to compete at Blenheim and this year is on the short list for Badminton.

Based near Banbury Izzy took on the ride of KBIS Starchaser in 2008 and then KBIS Starlet at the end of 2009, when both horses came over from Europe where they had been show jumping. Izzy has achieved some good results with both horses and has progressed them both up to Intermediate level, with the help of Georgie Spence who took on the ride of KBIS Starlet for the second half of the 2010 season due to Izzy expecting with her second child.

You can keep up to date on both horses progress on our NEWS page and on Izzy's Blog

KBIS Starchaser (Star)

Star was the first event horse that KBIS purchased, when Charlotte, who is part of the KBIS team and another one of KBIS's sponsored riders, saw the grey gelding at the yard where she was based.

Star, now 8 years of age, is by the stallion Star Trek and quickly progressed up to Novice level after just eight runs at BE100 level. He then moved up to Intermediate level in the second half of the 2010 season, finishing the season with his first three day event, the CCI* at Weston Park where he finished a very respectable seventh. He is extremely bold cross country and combined with Izzy's experience makes it all look easy!

Star currently has 45 BE points and will be starting the 2011 season at Intermediate level.

KBIS Starlet (Doris)

Doris came over to England in 2009 and after spending the winter hunting and lightly show jumping started her eventing career in March 2010. She went straight out a Novice level and although a little 'green' to start with she went on to have a very consistent record being placed in top ten every time out.

In May Georgie Spence took on the ride of Doris while Izzy was expecting with her second child. Georgie had some great results with Doris including coming second in the CCI* at Hartpury in August.

Now back in Izzy's yard she will be competing at Intermediate level in 2011 after spending some of the winter month hunting with Izzy and the Bicester Hunt.
