The KBIS British Equestrian Insurance final was held at Weston Park Horse Trials, with the team title going to the Midlands squad.
The team consisted of Tom How riding Cadenza Guardian Angel, Willa Newton riding Neelix, Emily Parker riding Treefers and Nicola Whitmore riding Its Toto.
Tom (16), from Kettering, Northamptonshire, secured his place at Weston Park from winning the JRN section at Belton Horse Trials earlier on in the season. Tom finished on a score of 43.60 penalties putting them third, individually.
Willa, from Melton Mowbray, achieved fifth place individually finishing on a great score of 46.90 penalties. Willa had competed in a few JRN qualifiers over the season to get her place at Weston Park.
Emily ended on her great dressage score of 35 penalties, which put her into second place riding Treefers. Based at Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, Emily has had a very successful year.
Fourth member of the team was Nicola Whitmore, from Epworth, South Yorkshire. Nicola achieved 10th individually at Weston Park finishing on a score of 52.20 penalties.
The Midlands team finished on a score of 177.70 penalties followed by the Wales and Borders team who finished on a score of 205.10 penalties.
