Sienna Myson-Davies, based in Guildford, Surrey, triumphed at Weston Park Horse Trials in the KBIS British Equestrian Junior Regional Novice Final.
Sienna (17) won on her seven-year-old gelding, Tambourine with an excellent dressage score of 30.4 and completed the show jumping and cross-country phases without incurring any penalties. Known as Tambo, Tambourine qualified for the prestigious final at Weston Park after winning at Borde Hill Horse Trials.
Said Sienna: “It was a total surprise when I had found out I had won. It was such an amazing four days and it really makes me determined to enter for the JRN qualifiers again next year. I have been riding Tambo now for almost two years and we have had so much fun eventing this season. I love taking him to events and he’s such a good horse to do. I am hoping to move him up to Intermediate level at the start of next season.”
Guy Prest of KBIS British Equestrian Insurance said: “The JRN finals were very exciting and it was a great result for Sienna who put in a very consistent effort.”
Sienna also has two other horses; Varisienne, who is at Pre-Novice level and Welton Jazz who competes in the Pony Trials and represented Britain last year.
