Rosie Chinery, based in Haverhill, Essex, secured first place at Little Downham Horse Trials, in the KBIS British Equestrian Junior Regional Novice Section.
Rosie won on her 15.2hh gelding, finishing on a good dressage score of 26.20. Her ride B B, started the season well achieving a second place at Brigstock Horse Trials last weekend in the JRN section.
Said Rosie: “It was a total surprise when I had found out I won, as I had to leave the event to ride at a point-to-point on another horse later on in the day, so my friend had to tell me the results; I was so overjoyed. I have two more horses, Just a Token, who is at Pre-Novice level, and Lotus Eater, who is starting out at Intro level.”
For the rest of the season Rosie and B B hope to continue their successes and plan to move up to Intermediate level towards the end of the season.
