LEADING equestrian insurance company Kbis has launched a new scholarship scheme
which will be searching for the Kbis Scholar of 2005.
It is hoped that the Kbis Scholarship will help to contribute to someone who
currently competes at an intermediate level in showjumping, dressage or eventing.
The lucky winner of the Kbis Scholarship will receive £1500 sponsorship money
plus saddlecloths, rugs and other Kbis promotional wear.
Based near Newbury in Berkshire, Kbis are well established experts in equine
insurance, providing a wide range of policies and services for horse owners.
Said Guy Prest of Kbis: “We decided to launch the scholarship scheme to put
something back into equestrian sports.”
“It is a great opportunity or a rider to receive backing for 12 months and we
hope that the financial assistance will make the difference for the chosen
scholar helping them to rise up the competition ladder.”
“All Kbis staff have worked with horses and several still actively compete. With
this in depth knowledge of horses and insurance we can explain what types of
cover are available and suitable for your individual horse. This allows you to
choose a policy to match your own particular requirements.”
Added Guy Prest: “Our aim is to give customers a choice of options so that they
can decide on the most suitable cover for their horse and their pocket.
Kbis was established in 1986 and has now developed into one of the UK’s leading
riding and competition horse insurance specialists, as well as having a
bloodstock division.
