First and Last
Charlotte and KBIS Chloes Darco (Hippo) went out of the KBIS British Novice series in style at the weekend with a win in what was to be their last opportunity to compete in this class.
The KBIS British Novice was the first class of the day at Farnham Town Show, which ran classes over two days on the 10th and 11th July. With around 50 entries it was a popular class and although quite a spooky course Hippo jumped a nice clear round in her first round to take her into the jump off. They then had a slight advantage after being drawn in the last five to go in the jump off, which they made the most of to produce a quick and accurate round to take first place.
Charlotte and Hippo now have over £100 in notional winnings which means that they are unable to compete in any further KBIS British Novice classes. They have already successfully jumped some double clears in Discovery and 1.05m classes will now be aiming to gain their Discovery Regional Final qualification.
