Originally established in 1986 as Kershaw Bloodstock Insurance Services, a specialist bloodstock insurance , the company become known as KBIS in 1991 when the business was acquired by current owners Guy and Liz Prest and moved into the competition and leisure insurance market.

 

Over the years KBIS has developed into one of the leading independent insurance providers for the riding and competition horse, with a number of policies and veterinary cover options to suit every level of horse and budget.

 

Today we can provide not only horse insurance but also insurance for your complete equestrian lifestyle, whether a one horse owner, livery yard owner, instructor or an equestrian business proprietor – we have the policies and staff to guide you through the process to ensure that you have the appropriate insurance cover.
